I have watched this movie over and over again, whether is it was with my family, friends or just myself I will never get tired of it. The music in the movie is what really catches my attention. It has so much meaning to my family and I. My mom always used to sing the song "Edelweiss" to me before going to sleep when I was little. She used to sing it because of her love for the movie. I grew up watching the movie because of my family which lead me to my love for the movie myself and the music. I have become a part of The Sound of Music fandom since I was little. I have also been too many different plays of The sound of Music, including the one my sister participated in as Gretl, the youngest of the seven children. My sister and I have also painted the flower, edelweiss, and wrote out the song on a canvas for my parents Christmas present.
