Disney Theme Park Fandom

Disney History

     Walt Disney, originally purchased 43 acres of land for his second theme park to open up in Orlando, Florida in 1965. The park currently measures 27,000 acres long and is the largest theme park in the world. It is also the most visited theme park in the world which had 20.8 million people alone visit it in 2018 (\Disney World Statistics).

It is known to be one of the biggest tourist destinations as well. Disney world has four separate theme parks Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios and two water parks Typhoon Lagoon, and Blizzard Beach. Magic Kingdom the first park to open up, is the most popular park out of them all. Magic Kingdom celebrated their 50th anniversary this year, 2021.

Disney Theme Park Fans 

    Disney fans are all ages from infants to senior citizens! Adults who love everything and anything Disney related are called "Disney Adults" these are people who "devote an unreasonably large portion of time or resources towards expressing their love of Disney (DisneyFanatic)." It is a magical experience for anyone and everyone when visiting Disney parks. The fans can not get enough of it! It is truly a dream come true for many people. It is a great way for kids and adults to watch some of their favorite animated movies come to life in front of their eyes which is just one of the reasons why Disney has such a strong fanbase. 

If you are a big fan of rides and rollercoasters Disney has some of the best! The Disney Fans love going to all parks and experiencing the rides and attractions Disney has to offer. The "true fans" go to Disney world at least once a year. Many people would think isn't it the same thing over and over again? but no, it changes every time you go! Whether there are new rides or new cast members you come into contact with these people truly make the experience amazing. The cast members are known to make a difference! Once you go to Disney world the fans experience the "Disney Difference" this is just from the cast members alone, because they truly have such a big impact on your experience.

 Disney fans don't just only go for the rides, but for the food too. Disney has hundreds of restaurants with amazing food and drinks and fans can't get enough of it. Disney Adults of course love to shop. Disney has multiple shopping stores in every park to get some Disney merchandise and more where fans can buy t-shirts, sweatshirts, and more to represent the Disney Logo as they walk around the park. Another way fans demonstrate there love for Disney is Mickey and Minnie ears that they wear as they walk through the parks! 

Disney Adults love to experience EPCOT, Disney's second theme park to open up. EPCOT is different from all the other parks and allows the fans to take a trip around the world in just the one park showcasing all the countries. Each country offers that cultures food and beverage and also has stores to shop in. EPCOT hosts an international food and wine festival which brings in thousands of fans each year!

The Disney Fan in Me and My Family

Growing up me and my family loved Disney World and still do to this day. We try and go at least once a year! It is truly different every time and such a fun experience with your family. It is like nothing else and no other theme park around. From the amazing rides, stores, and food! There is an endless amount of possibilities and things to do at Disney. Every time we go it is a little different and such a fun time. It is a fast paced trip though which me and my family love going from park to park each and everyday we are there! Our favorite part is the rides and eating at all the amazing restaurants. It is a magical experience like no other especially when you enter Magic Kingdom and see Cinderella's Castle in person! It is a place for all of us to live in the moment and forget everything else and act like little kids again! Disney is so fun and I would recommend it to anyone who loves Disney things! 

Disney on Social Media 

There are many different ways Fans can find out about Disney World Theme Parks and one is through social media. There are numerous instagram accounts created by fans about the theme parks with lots of pictures. Some Disney fans also Vlog their experiences and time at the park for all people to see. If you go onto to twitter there is a @WaltDisneyWorld account as well as Facebook accounts created by fans about the theme parks. 

Disney Theme Parks have so many great things to offer people of all ages to enjoy which is why there fan base is so large!

  Background Info.      Johnny Cash started to sing in the 1950's after his service in the military. He became known as the man in black due to the fact he always wore black clothes. During the 60's he began to fight with drugs. He had this battle his whole life.  In the 80's his sales began to drop. Then in the 90's he once again flourished. Then in 2003 he pasted away. Throughout his life he won many awards. He was able to do so after his death as well.    The Fandom In 2005, Walk the Line, a movie about his life was recorded. This movie was made for fans to see his life story. The movie goes on to talk about his singing, songwriting, and his romantic life with June Carter.  Many tribute bands were also made, so fans can continue to listen to Johnny Cash's music live. These tribute bands sing Johnny cash's songs. They will usually sing just how Cash did. Some though, will put their own twist to his music. These bands have live music year round....

The One Who Fills a Void

       One day I was spending time in Benton at my uncle's house like I do often. Me and him were working on a 1948 John Deere G that he had bought in the 70's and is now mine. My uncle is an older gentleman who was never married and never had kids, so I am almost the closest thing he has ever had to a son or grandson. Which after my grandfathers passed away years ago, he really filled the void and became almost more like a grandfather figure in way. On this particular day we were trying to clean up the tractor after it was caught in a flood. My uncle was a truck driver and a diesel mechanic his whole life and has a small shop in his backyard full of expensive tools that had almost all gotten caught in the flood waters. We had already spent days cleaning the shop and the tools. At this point we were both getting tired and discouraged. My Best Friend

"A sister is someone that is not only your sister but a best friend." That is what Julie, my sister, and I always say because we are truly best friends. We do everything together. We are only 17 months apart in age. My mom would always dress us in the same outfit when we were little and everyone would always ask if we were twins. Julie is someone that I always want by my side, which has made it hard and extremely different since I have moved into college. We have made so many memories together and get along so well. My sister makes the harder times easier and the easy times more fun. We tell each other everything and would always make time in the day too caught up and just talk to each other. Most of the time those conversations would happen at night while everyone is sleeping. Either one of us would go into the other's bedroom and sit on whoever's bed. We would always end up laughing too loud or making a lot of noise and would wake my mom up. She would always come in...
